President Donald Trump and Nigeria's President Muhammad Buhari Maintain a Joint Information Convention
U.S. President Donald Trump tried to reset his relationship with Africa on Monday, as he hosted Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari is the primary sub-Saharan African chief to have a White Home summit with Trump, who has been criticized for reportedly making derogatory feedback about Africa.
Throughout his public remarks with Buhari, Trump centered totally on widespread objectives and shared pursuits, corresponding to preventing terrorism and increasing commerce.
“We love helicopters — he loves them greater than I do,” joked Trump, referring to his administration’s resolution to approve a $600 million navy gross sales deal to Nigeria.
