Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday mentioned the time has come to revisit the Tenth Schedule of the Structure. The Vice President, underlining the necessity to revisit the Tenth Schedule of the Structure, also called the anti-defection regulation, mentioned, “We must always talk about this and are available to a conclusion. Legislatures are for debate, dialogue with out disruption. Additional, credibility, functionality and capability ought to be the yardstick for anybody to enter the legislature and never caste, money and criminality.” A complete relook on the statute is required, he emphasised. The Vice President made his commentary on the launch of his e-book, chronicling his two years in workplace by Union Residence Minister Amit Shah.
