Trump’s first impeachment – 2020
After a day of hourslong debate, the Home of Representatives on Dec. 18 voted to question President Donald Trump. The 2 articles of impeachment cost Trump with abuse of energy and obstruction of Congress. The Home vote follows weeks of impeachment hearings within the Home that sought to listen to arguments for, and towards, impeaching the president. Now that the vote has handed within the Home, the method will then head for a trial within the Senate, the place Republicans have a majority. The Senate has the only real authority to take away the president from workplace.
